HAMMOND — A second high-end office building may be coming to the city's Oxbow Landing development.
The Hammond Redevelopment Commission on Tuesday is expected to enter into an option agreement with ATG Real Estate Development LLC for the last parcel of land the commission has available at the development.
HAMMOND — The first Class A office building to be built along the Borman Expressway has landed its first four tenants, marking another milestone in fulfilling expectations for Oxbow Landing.
Construction work began last year on the 37,200-square-foot, three-story 2929 Carlson Drive building and ATG Real Estate Development is already planning to build at a second site at Oxbow Landing.
Vacancy rose slightly in the Northwest Indiana office market last year, after the Region's first new speculative office building in a decade went up in Hammond.
But rents have been rising and the vacancy rate is expected to fall this year, according to Commercial In-Sites' annual Class "A" office market report.
ATG Real Estate Development LLC, developer of 2929 Carlson Drive– a new office building in Northwest Indiana, in conjunction with First Location Commercial Leasing and Brokerage, is pleased to announce new, established leases: ATG Real Estate Development, Impact Networking, Northern District of Indiana Federal Community Defenders, and Westland & Bennett.
